This is the largest T Shirt Quilt size we offer at Shirts 2 Quilts. We will need 42 squares to make your queen size blanket. You can use shirt fronts or fronts and backs to make this quilt. If you are short images we can always sub a blank square to complete your T Shirt Quilt.

All of our shirt quilts are quilted adjacent to the shirt seams, we use white thread to keep your shirts the center of attention.
We make this really easy.
1-Go through and select your blanket backing color. We use a super soft minky fleece for the backing. This will wrap around and also be used for the edge binding so this color will be visible on the front.
2- Most Shirts should be just fine with a 12"x12" size square, but if you have larger T Shirts check the graphics size. Select the 14"x14" to avoid cutting off part of the print.
3- The Minky Fleece backing we feel adds enough weight to make this T Shirt Quilt super soft but if you would like to add extra loft and warmth choose Add Batting.
After you purchase your T-Shirt Quilt you will get a “kit” sent your Etsy message center/or email. This kit will include:
1- A set of numbered labels for each panel of your quilt. Tape or Pin these labels on your shirts to design your quilt layout. You can use the front, back or both sides of your shirt. The kit will also include a Quilt Map to correspond with the labels and the mailing address to send in your shirts.
** You will be responsible for paying postage and sending in the shirts for your quilts.
Just load up your shirts as described in the kit and send in via the carrier of your choice.
We will do all the cutting for you! No need to cut any of your shirts.
We don't send back your shirt scraps unless requested.
You will receive your finished shirt quilt with in 3-4 weeks. Quality takes time but its so worth it!

Batting is a layer of fill added between the top T-Shirt portion of the Quilt and the Back Minky Fleece. The Batting dosn't add much weight to the quilt but does make it fuller. I like to describe the T-Shirt Quilts with Batting as more like a comforter and with-out Batting Quilts are more like a Throw blanket.
No- We do not return the scrap material, but if you would like it returned just let us know, we would be happy to return if requested!
Once you place an order you will receive a message with your "Quilt kit". This will include the shipping address. The cost on Etsy does not include the cost to send in your shirts. You will be responsible for the cost to send in your shirts. USPS does over flat rate shipping boxes that may save some money on shipping.
You do not need to pre cut any of your T-Shirts. We will cut all the shirts that are needed for the quilt. If you have shirts that have already been cut we can work with those too. We do not offer a discount for precut shirts as it typically take longer to cut any remaining as they don't usually match our templates.
Yep, we can work with most materials. T-Shirts, sweatshirts, Jerseys etc. If you have a question on a specific material just let us know.
No we do not use interfacing. We find that it makes the quilt less soft and overtime does not hold up as well. We like to make super soft quilts that will remain super comfy over time.

This quilt is the greatest purchase you will make! I have ordered other quilts from other people, and they have never come out like this quality. The cozy backing she pairs with all your cherished memories creates this dense, cuddly, extravagant blanket that is insanely comfortably. I ordered a Large size quilt of all our Christmas outfits over the years (mainly of my kids size 0-5yo, but also our obligatory matching PJ sets) and it turned out amazing. We plan to use it as the King sized bedspread for family who will be visiting this season, and I know it will be so special for them. Thank you for creating such an amazing memory blanket, I will cherish this forever!

There are not enough words to say how much I LOVE this quilt. I lost my husband very suddenly in June of this year and the comfort this item gives me is overwhelming. It will most definitely be cherished forever.
