FAQ's

How Does it work?

First select the Finished Size of the Quilt you are looking for.  If you know how many shirts you have you can pick based on the shirts required.

Select the size your shirt will be cut to, either 12"x12" or 14" x14". We recommend the 12" square for most orders. If you have larger images, select the 14"x14" size.  Any part of thee shirt beyond the square size will be cut off.

Next select the backing color. We use a super soft Minky fleece.  Remember this will also be the edge of your shirt quilt so this will be visible from the front as well.

Once you have the above selected Add to Cart and Check out.  You will receive an email with custom labels to mark your shirts and a set of instructions with the mailing address.

Can I use a Sweatshirt instead of a T-Shirt?

Yes, If you want to send in a sweatshirt in place of a shirt that will work fine.   We can work with a variety of materials, if you have a question on a specific material just let us know.

Do you do wholesale or bulk orders?

How long will it take to get my T-Shirt Quilt made?

Once we receive in your shirts it will typically take about 6 weeks for us to ship out your finished quilt.  As always we will ship out sooner if time permits. Please check our shop header for current lead times as they may change during busy seasons.

I want to use both sides of my shirt, will that work?

Yes, you can use the front, back or both, no worries!  In your kit will be a set of labels to mark what portion of the shirt you want used in your quilt.  Just place the labels on either the front, back or both sides and those portions will be included in your quilt.

I want to design the layout of my quilt is that an option?

Absolutely, And we don't charge extra.  We will send you a set of labels in your kit that are used to mark your shirts.  These labels also give you the option to design the layout of your quilt.  Or we can use our experience and layout the quilt for you.  Either way its up to you.

How are the Shirts Quilted?

Quilting is included on every quilt.  We quilt along all 4 sides of each shirt square.  We use white thread to leave your shirts the center of attention.  Quilting adds a higher level of quality and reinforcement to your quilt.

Do you use a fusible interfacing on the shirts?

We do not add fusible interfacing to the back of your shirts.  The interfacing typically adds stiffness to your shirts but over time may not hold up.  Since your shirts are quilted to the backing we don't feel that it adds value to your quilt.
